Currently we have volunteers placed in nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and we welcome the opportunity to visit new places.  We know activity directors are always looking for ways to brighten the days of the residents in their facilities.  Let Pets on Wheels help.  If you are connected with a nursing home or assisted living facility and would like to receive visits, contact Pets on Wheels to request a facility visit.  We ask you to fill out a short form about your facility and the residents you serve.

All pets are screened for temperament, good health, and up-to-date vaccinations.  All pet owners provide a health certificate that is authorized by their vet.

Let us know when you would like a volunteer team which consists of an owner and pet to visit your facility.  We can arrange for a one-time visit or ongoing visits. 

When we find a volunteer team with an interest in your facility, we will contact you to set up an appointment with you to review our services and then have the volunteer contact you directly.  During the first visit, you can let the volunteer know whether you want to select a date for another visit.  If for any reason you feel the volunteer team is not appropriate for your facility, please contact Pets on Wheels.
